The journey takes route against the golf-stream and along with the Northern Norway coast ... until the outmost islands of Lofoten. And then into the water named Vestfjord between Lofoten and the mainland. Period is March - April. The fishermen who know the codfish-habits for hundreds of years has named these big matured codfish: Skrei.

The fishing-boats are rather small and often operated by one or two men.

The skrei is 80 meters down. There are lots and lots of them - therefore an old fishing-method called "jukse" (= jigging) is used.
