Lavvo in Finnmarken, part two

Inside, the lavvo is equipped with birch-brushwood upon the snow and reindeerskins on top around the fireplace. Then the lavvo is very usefull for sleeping, sitting and ....
.... eating - reindeermeat with bouillon!

When stomach needs are fullfilled, then some entertainment can be nice. The sami "Anders" is playing upon his mouth-organ. Usually he plays with the mouth-organ upside down: "Does'nt matter" is his remark - "sounds equal to me!" He play joik's - short sami-melodies without words, which you can sing (or play) again and again as long as you wish.
